        1. Nate: If anyone wants to to use OrgSync, please motion. Otherwise, [due to security concerns], I will be locking it down.
          1. Sal: ACM is under AESB; every friday there's a senate of all orgs as well as ASI which sees all of the organizations. ASI Spent $50,000 over a piece of software with a security flaw
            1. Nate: Security flaw came from the campus.
          2. Alex: Let me know why you're against it
            1. Nate: [Orgsync] forces users to use the student email which is synced with beachnet [and other services]. You can easily get access to a treasurer account.
              1. James Coolidge: You can...make a duplicate account.
          3. Alex: They're using a single sign on for all the services.
            1. Andrew: They're going to have paypal support; theoretically you can ... lose all your money.
          4. Sal: A lot of organizations have a lot of money...and there are cases when all the money was stolen.

            1. Nate: Anything. You can buy...or transfer funds.
        2. Nate: Dr. James approved; so I'm your man for the labs.
          1. Sal: ACM-W meets at every Tuesday at 4

          2. Sal: Our former president was Edgar Ortiz and we're trying to migrate it.

          1. Matt Cabrera oversees all the organizations. 
          2. Sal: Did you email the fact that you're the president [Nathan?]
            1. Nate: I gave the ORC form. Then I will never use BeachNet.

          1. Sal: Under the bylaws, Dr. Murgolo should have a copy of all the keys.
            1. Nate: I already talked to Dr. Murgolo. We just need to [do the paperwork].
          2. Sal: In the event we lose access to all our stuff...the Faculty Advisor becomes a common link.
      3. Vice:
        1. Library: VP will need more details to see where [Ariana] left off. If we're going to have a book sale, we will need to know which books [to sell]. Will talk to Steve Gold.
          1. Sal: These buildings are mostly offices for the CoE. We have offices but the internet is blocked in alot of the rooms. [ACM] has a library of books...for fundraisers.
        2. Nate: VP says working with the network services ...which have blocked ports.[Network services] are not responding to emails.

          1. Sal: Do you want to be involved but not strong in CS, be a historian. Historians are picture takers...which are important for my job.

          1. Ariana: I spoke with Lily Gossage... and she agreed to include ACM-W in the workshops for engineering women at the beach day. We're going to the ALICE Workshop for the Engineering Women at the Beach Day.

          1. Sal: If you haven't met the design department, it's down Deukmejian way. If you're interested in collaborating with the design department [for game design, website design], talk to ACM.
          2. Nate: They don't have technical experience so I'd like [ACM] to help them out.

        1. EAT Offer: 1.5 Tb Hard Drive Exchange for two ACM survailence camera.

          1. Sal: Everyone who has the keys must have office hours.
          2. Nate: Impossible. The administrative officers cannot make [good] office hours.

          5. Ariana: note that it's also ACM-W's office.
        3. Innovation Challenge - September 27th-29th @ 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM in ECS 312.
          1. Sal: Starting last year, people come in with an invention and business plan. CoE has this contest for $10,000 reward; if they judge you're the best...it can give you connection. If will look good for ACM, your resume...and bank account.

          1. Anyone who is a sophmore/freshman? We took a lot of courses [you sophmore/fresman] will be going to take...maybe we should.
